Our (beautiful) story.

Neveo's story begins in 2013 with the departure of Vincent for a one-year trip to Asia. He left his parents, his brothers but also his grandfather whom he had become accustomed to visiting daily since the death of his grandmother. Vincent's family decided to give their grandfather a tablet so that he could see photos of his grandson's adventures and daily life on the other side of the world. The tablet would unfortunately remain turned off, since it was too complicated to use.

Vincent realized how few ways there were available to communicate with his grandfather and how difficult it was for him to use new technologies.

Upon his return from his trip, Vincent decided to create a service to help families share their daily lives with their grandparents, no matter how far apart they were and no matter what their habits or difficulties were. With the help of Simon and Jérôme, he developed this idea over several months.

After many trials, reflections and discussions, they were convinced that paper is the most suitable medium to help grandparents receive news from their families. Neveo, the monthly family journal, was born.

The first journals were printed in December 2016. First 100, then 500, then 1000, and so on. Neveo meets a real need and the number of families participating in the adventure grows every day.

"We didn't think we would have so many requests, but the need to communicate with grandparents was soon confirmed. We had found a solution that suited the families."

Vincent Leroy, co-founder of Neveo

In 2019 and 2020, Romane, Quentin, Charlotte and Josef joined the team to meet the challenges of service and product development and the conquest of new countries.

Today, the Neveo application is used by 100,000 people around the world, journals are delivered to more than 110 countries and, every month, 1 million photos are sent to more than 20,000 grandparents.
